Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8D2 RAM power rail short

Hi,

Could you help me to find the Voltage rail IC PU301 model
Multimeter continuity model shows short after the PU301 IC and to the whole ram slot is short to ground

What is the exact resistance to ground? No power to the board during resistance checks.

Would you have the schematics for this model?

Acer Nitro 5 LA-L181p power LED turns on by 5 secs (Short on PCH rail?)

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to repair my old Acer Nitro 5 (AN517-54-55T5). I've already bought a new laptop, so this is more of a learning project. For the experience, with no high expectations of success.

Well, my decice specs are the following:

Model: Acer Nitro 5 AN517-54-55T5
CPU: Intel Core i5-11400H
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
Motherboard: GH51G LA-L181P Rev:1c

The symptom:
When pressing the power button, the power LED lights up for about 5 seconds and then turns off. Initially, the issue was intermittent: sometimes...

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power

Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

450watt power supply 5v, 3.3v short to ground wire,in output rail ,connectors

hello everyone , working zebronics power suply 450 watts , 5v ,3.3v givin short to ground black wire, also in circuit at output, resistor was charred but shows right values , after removing resistors 39ohms, 51 ohms, there was no short , no continuity beeps with ground , but after replacing new resistors (now i am not switching it on) ,again short still exists . when i put bigger ohm resistor like 100k ohm , no short beeping sound comes , lower ohm resistor gives continuity beeps ,other big ones donest , as its a working psu , i am confused what to remove now or how to go further now .

LENOVO P1 G1 (X1 EXTREME) 0.8V MAIN POWER RAIL [LPM-1]

No shorts on any main power rails.

All power mosfets over the whole board test good.

Have 20v into first DC in mosfet, when power button is pressed main power rail is at 0.8V. Not sure if it is the EC or BQ creating that 0.8V or?

The 2 input DC mosfets are not driving voltage, 2nd mosfet is N channel and no 25V on the gate. Again is this coming from the EC or BQ chip.

BQ chip has 25.6V at ACDRV.
