Replace the 2 mosfets linked to the battery charging - high side and low side.

hi, I already changed them but no result, I started measuring all over, and noticed I have 5.87V at PT8901, but only 0.9V at the gate of PQH8902 and pin 1 of PR8969.
The resistance between PT8901 and the mosfet and resistor is 17,5KOhm.
If i'm not mistaken in reading the schematic and boardview this should be a direct trace with very low resistance.
Is it safe to make a bridge between PT8901 and pin 1 of the resistor or to the gate of PQH8902 ?

Between PQH8902 GATE and PU8900 Pin 26, the resistance should be zero, if this was the question.

PR8969 is a 10 KOhms resistor between HIDRV (Pin 26) and PHASE (Pin 27) and has nothing to do with the connection between the Mosfets GATE and the Charging Controller.

Indeed the resistance of the circuit should be zero, but it is 17.5KOhm.
I understand the 10k resistor has nothing to do with the connection between mosfet gate and charging controller. But it is easier for me to solder a jumper wire to pin 1 of the resistor than on the gate of the mosfet. (since these pins are in the same circuit).

Anyway I'm going to jump this with a wire and test

            Fixed !
            The jumperwire did the trick.
Thanks for everyone who guided me.

Good morning, I have an Adus X413E laptop that won't charge. 19V reaches pad 3 of the BAT54CW SCHOTTKY diode, and 18V should be output on pad 1, which is the BAT line, but only 0.6V is output.
I measured the diode scales, and the SCHOTTKY, pad 1 anode to pad 3 cathode, reads 0.2V; pad 2 anode to pad 3 cathode, reads 0.2V. When I reverse the leads of the OL multimeter, this tells me the Schottky is good, but no voltage is output.
I would appreciate some guidance on a possible solution.

Can you confirm how you are measuring the voltage to ground on this dual diode?

Voltage should enter either pins #1 or #2 and will output to pin #3 to power the charger IC.

                See below.

According to the boardview, the voltage exits the PU8900 IC through pad 28, which connects to pad 1 of diode D8908, which in turn connects to pad 1 of PC8941 and pad 2 of PR8916; pad 1 of PR8916 connects to pad 3 (this pad receives 19V) of PD8900; Looking back, pad 2 of PD8900 has 19V, and pad 2 should output 18V because this pad connects to other components that go to the battery connector. I'll attach images and upload the boardview.

I misspelled the 19V voltage coming from pad 28 of the PU8900 IC; it passes through the diode, the capacitor, and a resistor, then reaches pad 3 (P_CHG_VCC_R_30) of the PD8900 dual diode (19V).
Pad 2 (A/D_DOCK_IN) has 18V, and pad 1 (BAT) has no voltage output.
To measure, I use a multimeter, negative to ground and positive to pad3 (19V), and the same goes for pad2 (18V) and pad1 has no voltage.

Ok. Measure the voltage to ground of:

                        ACDET ; pin 6
                        ACOK ; pin 5
                        ACDRV ; pin 4

on the charger IC. Post each measurement.

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.

Measure the resistance to ground of P_SMB0_DATA. Post the measurement.

16K ohms sir mon2.. itried to jumper the r3020 3va_ec pin2 and P_SMB0_DATA. it charge now and the voltage of data is now 1.8v

R3020 may be defective. Measure its resistance across this resistor to confirm without power to the board. Good find!

Dear friends., working on this ASUS R565EA-UH51T. motherboard part # is X415EA R:6.0. The schematic which is uploaded on Badcaps is not the correct one. Can't figure out the traces. The battery does not charge at all. Firstly it was not turning on. With my experience, I correctly bypassed the 2 initial MOSFET & now the laptop turns on perfectly but does not charge the battery. Upon diagnostics I found that on both MOSFET (N-Channel) GATES volts are missing. Out here it should be nealry 24v to turn on the MOSFET GATEs & then the Laptop would turn on. This missing volts are generating from...

The device is not charging with the 19V 180W DC charger. If the battery is full, the laptop powers on normally. I can charge it via USB Type-C, but it’s very slow. I checked the schematics but couldn’t find a solution. I even replaced the BQ24800 battery charging IC, but the issue remains the same. I suspect a MOSFET or a fuse that I might be overlooking is preventing it from charging with the adapter. Has anyone experienced a similar fault before or has any advice?...

i have found short on C3907 (PVDD_AMP) and remove it
Actually machine works but battery is not charging. I have test with new one and i have too replace BQ24780S (charging IC) and same problem.
It's not 1st time when i remove short after the battery is not detect
On mybook i know we can make jumper beetween two lines for recognised this one
do you have solution for pc and actually this mainboard? Thanks for your help ...
