HP 14-dk1003dx Board 6050A3176101-MB-A01 No VCORE, no VCORE_NB Power Cycle

    Hello
I have this laptop HP 14-dk1003dx which has the following problem:
Power LED and fan cycle abuut 4-5 seconds on, 2 sec off, current draw is around 20mA from bench PSU

Board model: 6050A3176101-MB-A01, no schematics found, closest boardview is this 6050A2983601 : https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-x01-boardview

Original fault was shorted main 19v line by mosfet Q66610, no LED at charge port, i replaced original mosfet SIZ988DT with AON6992, short no longer present, charge port LED turns white, and orange when i plug in the battery
There was some liquid damage around U66600 RT3662AC, solder mask was darker at some places, which scraped easily, a broken trace at pin 14, which I fixed
I replaced RT3662AC twice, the first one immediately blew Q66610, replaced both and now the issue is as described above

Missing VCORE and VCORE_NB (controlled by Q66610), all other voltages are present
    - 5v
    - 3.3v
    - 1.8v
    - RAM voltages (1.2v, 2.5v, 0.6v)
    - 0.9v near the CPU

Attached picture of U66600 area, i tinned those traces and applied uv solder mask where i fixed the broken trace at pin 14

    Any ideas?

What is the reistance to GND on L66010?

Very likely your APU is fried as Q6610 passed 19V to APU when it was shorted.

Hi, thanks for your reply, resistance to GND is around 10 ohms on L66010 and L66020
      on L66610 it's 9.6ohms (where Q66610 was shorted)

Neither Q66010 nor Q66020 were shorted
Touching the multimeter probes I get 0.8ohms

I replaced MOSFET marked in green (Q66610), the two MOSFETs marked orange were not shorted

Forgot to add, CPU is Athlon silver 3050U

Update: ended up replacing the board with a 19C1 Hagrid 2.0 HAGRID20-6050A3056501-MB-A01 with Ryzen 3 3200U CPU

Everything working fine, now need to edit BIOS with serial/windows key from dead board, currently says "HP Laptop 14s-dk0xxx", BIOS was tampered with, soldering looks a bit crooked
I can confirm boards marked "Hagrid" are interchangeable with "Ashmore", in the HP 245 G7 / 245 G8, and HP 14-dk, 14-cm, maybe other models with similar chassis

It was listed supposedly as 6050A3176101-MB-A01 "R3-3250 R3-3200", got this one instead, Aliexpress sellers...

          thanks...

                by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Assuming...

                • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
                • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
                by Hakuu
                Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

                More Details

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

                Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
                by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
                CN6401
                Pin 01 NC

                Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
