    Lenovo T14 Gen1 i7 10  nm-C931 (brick)

Hey! I bought a Lenovo T14 Gen1 i7 10 nm-C931 (a brick). The previous owner said he got it on eBay as a password-locked device and took it to a repair service, where they tried flashing something. The result: it doesn't turn on.

When I plug in the charger, the charging LED lights up, and the power button indicator blinks three times.

I downloaded the firmware from the official website, but it's incomplete. However, there is a firmware for the embedded controller (MEC1663). I did a mass erase via OpenOCD, wiped MEC1663 along with the EEPROM, and flashed an image from the official firmware. The result: still a brick.

Anyone here knows what I could try next? 🤔

By the way, after flashing via JTAG, do I need to put back the resistor that enables JTAG?

I couldn't find the power-on sequence in the schematics, so I don't even know what to check… There's no activity on the SPI flash (bios) DO and DI pins—I checked with an oscilloscope.

I've already solved the problem! There was no diode on the SPI flash power, so I installed it. I also reprogrammed the MEC1663 and the SPI flash, and everything started working! Thanks to everyone who responded.
