Hi there
Would anybody know why a Dell Inspiron 5323 dosnt charge?
The Battery was replaced after really badly Bulging, to the point where the case was being pushed open.
What component would fail if it was overcharged to this point?
The Laptop works perfectly on the Power Adapter.
I don't have a Boardview or Schematic
Could it be the Charge IC BQ07A?
Any help would be appreciated

Or you replaced the bulged battery cell(s) and keep using the battery management system circuitry and any unbulged battery cells?
The battery management system circuitry inside the laptop battery pack usually has some intelligence. It remembers the charge/discharge count. If the count is exceeded, it won't allow you to charge.
