hi, first dont use caps lock = shout...bad thing.

second is the video card taken from another acer laptop? it not u need to program video card bios with one vbios for acer 5920g ... vbios available on tech powerup.

modem is need to make pc power on everytime... or it will power after 5-6 times.

    edit:

try to power on the laptop 6 times.... if on the 6th or 7th it stay on then is only a modem problem.

Sorry for caps..I powered on as u said..it just stay on without video output...white screen only...
I powered on it keeps restarting..just before it loads w7 on 6th attempt I again pressed power button(it understood this was ur instructions)...this was unresponsive by laptop it loaded w7 without vedio out...I heard only w7 sound..
How can I use vbios if laptop is not showing anything..does it mean I need flash vbios.?any next instructions. ?
      Thanks for your instructions sir...

Re: acer 5920g modem missing, changed video card ..still no video

blank screen is video card problem: bios, vbios or bad bga.

for vbios change there is one sure solution: take vbios out, program it then put it back.

second option is try crisis recovery method for vbios flash. some guy on italian forum report success for that.

Remove the MXM card from the machine.
            Download WinCris 1.0.0.4.
Download the patched BIOS, rename it to BIOS.WPH, and put it in the directory of WinCris.
Use WinCris to create an USB crisis recovery disk. (There is no crisis to recover in this case, but a crisis disk can also be used for regular flasing.)
Shut down the machine, remove the battery and unplug the AC.
Plug in the crisis USB disk.
Press and hold Fn+Esc. Plug in the AC adapter.
Still holding Fn+Esc, press the Power button. Release Fn+Esc.

When the laptop shuts down, reinstall the MXM card, and you should be good to go.

this is for modded 5920g mxm support (to support more vga)

            http://www.fileswap.com/dl/XbVl3J7EUS/

first try this procedure for more mxm support.

Re: acer 5920g modem missing, changed video card ..still no video

                  don`t flash it !
you said white screen? does go to external?
in order to do a proper test in external disconnect the internal cable screen.
if not reflow the mxm card then we talk next.

                          leave the VGA bios!
it has nothing to do with it!
if you got no progress after video reflow go to northbridge

that's a possibility, but more likely to be the battery has been removed at some time or disconnected
check cmos battery voltage if less than 2.6v replace it
if c/batt ok then reset date = time

i reballed a vga, but as i said maybe bad vbios or bad reball and on a working 5920g give white screen.
