Hot Air Blew Away Resistors Near Bios

Hi All - I'm in the midst or reprogramming the bios on my gen1 Surface Laptop Studio and I accidentally blew away 2 resistors nearby the bios. I don't have another board to measure values of the missing resistors and schematics aren't available, bbut the bios is a 6x5mm Winbond WSON8, W25R256JWPQ model. The traces are conductive to Pins 3 and 7 (IO2 & IO3 respectively) so I have reason to believe they are 10k pull up resistors since IO2&3 pins are used for Quad SPI instructions.

Does anyone with more knowledge, and experience than I, know if this is the case?

Test if the one side of these missing parts mates to the vcc pin of this flash. If yes, then yes they are pull-up resistors.

My database of schematics claims to have the boardview and schematics for this unit. However, unable to locate this flash part in the schematics.

Can you post a larger view of this board and note the location of this flash device?

I'll test the VCC connectiona today, thank you!

The boardview does not match the one in the database for Surface Laptop Studio 1. Could it be a different model?

It could be the desktop Surface Studio 1 you have diagrams for. I was unable to find the laptop gen1 schematics anywhere

Yes but the flash is not the same.

I see what you're saying. I looks like Pins 3 and 7 are the same on the W25Q128FV, only difference being it's 3v vs 1.8v on the W25R256JWPQ. 1K vs 10k could make bit of a mA difference but not by much. It seems low risk to try out 10k on both pad sets.

Yes, 10k pull-ups are perfectly safe to place onto the pads you have shared.
