    Macbook A2485 ( Main 820-02100-A) no power

    Good morning.
This MacBook came to me with the defect that it doesn't turn on, even the green or orange LED doesn't turn on from its power supply with magsafe connection. While disassembling the motherboard I noticed the following problems:
    UG400 with a hole, I desoldered it.
I find very low resistance to ground on the LG801 coil. I unsolder UG800 and the short disappears. With these two components desoldered, I connect the magsafe and the light turns on orange but still doesn't start. I order a new Ug400 and UG800 but nothing changes, same problem. I check the components under the protective plastics and find the burnt protective plastic on the UH700. I remove the component but nothing changes yet. When connected to USB type C it negotiates 5V and absorbs 0.02A. If instead I connect to the right side USB port there is 5 V but 0 absorption.
    what can I check?

Seeking LCD Schematic for MacBook Pro M1 A2485 - Aiming to Repair, Not Replace
    by spwoof
    Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a MacBook Pro A2485 and have encountered an issue with the LCD. Instead of opting for a full replacement, I'm interested in performing an in-depth repair on the LCD itself. I'm hoping to find the schematic for the LCD in order to understand its architecture and troubleshoot more effectively.

If anyone has access to the schematic or can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. My goal is to repair the components and connections within the display, rather than going for a costly replacement. I've been in the notebook...

    Macbook Pro A2485 820-02100 SSD
    by PITERPENY
Hello. SSD UN0000/0100/0200/0300 were shorted in the MacBook. There are 4 SSD chips on the board. I don’t have the same board and I removed two SSD UN0000/0100 chips from the MacBook on the M1 A2338. I installed only these two, but the machine does not recover and gives error 28. I have a question: is it necessary to have all 4 or should it work with two chips? Is this important for the M1 Max processor?...

Macbook Pro 16" A2485, 820-02100, battery service recommended, fan full speed, doens't charge
    by awe126
    Hello all,

I bought a Macbook Pro 16" M1 Pro, A2485, 820-02100, which working flawlessly but not charging. I thought battery needs to be replaced but then started reading and it seems that problem will be in motherboard.
Battery sign has cross sign and MacOS can't read battery stats. Fans are full speed but can be set down via Fancontrol software.
I did start digging into in and found out below:

    Diode mode:
    SMBUS_BATT_SCL: 0.529
    SMBUS_BATT_SDA: 0

    SMBUS_BATT_SCL: 1.795V
    SMBUS_BATT_SDA: 0.948V

    Can anyone help...

Apple MacBook Pro A2485 - No backlight
    by tommy97
    Hi everyone,

We're working on an A2485 MacBook with no backlight after liquid damage. The damage occurred near the backlight IC (UP800). We've checked all the nearby resistors and capacitors, and everything seems fine. We replaced UP800 from a donor board.

However, UP830 was also liquid damaged, and after cleaning, resistor RK830 came off. Unfortunately, I can't find its value, and the schematic doesn't indicate it as a critical component.

Would anyone have insights or a way to confirm the RK830 value?

    Thanks in advance!
