    Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 DC Socket

I have a LOQ 15IRH8 laptop which has suffered a damaged DC socket. I'm trying to find a replacement but after searching on eBay, AliExpress and google, i can't seems to find one and I'm hoping that someone out there has replaced this socket and is willing to share which port they used. This is very much different to the normal Lenovo ports and they don't fit. It has the marking of LOTES on it but after looking at replacement board they don't have the same marking so I'm thinking that there must be a generic one available.

If someone could help with this i would really appreciate it.

I've attached the original port below. Please ignore the lengths of the pins as these needed to be cut to be able to get it off the motherboard. the main 2 lugs which hold it in place are original.

    Why can't this one work?

Know Lotes and they are a quality OEM supplier to many customers including Intel and I recall them at many assorted electronic fairs in HK. They stamp these out to custom specs for their clients but no issue if you can find a similar drop in replacement. The above looks like a good fit but best to ask the vendor for more details on the dimensions to compare against yours.

I have them in stock and they don't fit. The LOQ seem to be smaller and also the lugs which hold the socket to the motherboard are not long enough, they seem to be at the bottom of the plug.

I really need to find someone that has already replaced the port on this model to see what they used.

          Notebook won’t turn on after screen replacement - Lenovo Legion Silm 5 16IRH8_LOQ 15IRH8 Compal ILG10 LA-M542P Rev 1.0
          by viniciussls
Good morning everyone, this is my first post and I apologize in advance if there are any mistakes in the post.

I have a Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16IRH8_LOQ with the typical issue of stripes on the screen, but I made the mistake of replacing the screen without physically removing the battery, thinking that just pressing the SW2 button would be enough – it wasn't. The board showed consumption, with LED6301 lit up and PU301 getting very hot. I replaced PU301. Now, the board is not working correctly, but it has no consumption, LED6301 stays on, and I haven't found any other signs of a short...
