Hi there, im fixing my client asus tuf fa506ic laptop. It was no life due to water damage, i did my best to revive it but no luck fan spinning and keyboard light only. I tried reflash bios still no luck. I remember i replace the sio ITE IT5570VG SIO IC, do i need to reprogram this? See actual pic posted. Thank you and more power!

by yheriatovychHi. I need some help troubleshooting the issue (which is a bit odd to my limited experience) with the A2338 Macbook.
Initial symptoms:
One day the laptop refused to wake up (as it seemed at first), spinning the fan on full blast, with no picture on the screen.
Force rebooting didn't help. To check if it boots at all I connected the external display and surprisingly it booted to the system, and I was able to log in to the system.
However, I noticed that it was in some weird state:- The fan was still blasting at full speed. It's blasting even when the system

by StephenCustomer came in with a board issue, board looks clean, board turns on, he did a software update and he got the infamous Apple boot loop logo. He took it to Apple and Apple said he needed a new board. They attempted to DFU revive restore etc no luck. The board is stuck on the (!) point. I tried DFU myself and no luck. Nothing, board boots up goes into DFU computer turns on with Apple logo when applying the patch and nothing it gets stuck at halfway point and hangs on. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this particular issue. Board isn't liquid damage from what I can tell...
