Can you link the schematic? Do not post it here but only link it once they are in the schematic forum.

The capacitor voltage is important and 25v is safe for this area. Post a screen grab of the schematic for these parts if available to you.

If I had schematics, I would not have been asking questions here

Highlighted in yellow, as I presume?
          Thanks a million!

Yes. Found these values using a similar model from Lenovo T14. The physical 0603 size should be ok for your board since many of the other parts are a match. If you are ordering from Digikey or Mouser - consider to also order the 0805 sized parts of the same value. They will be very inexpensive. DK is +$8 for shipping to Canada with next business day delivery.

              mon2,

Do you happen to have the schematics for the power bus of another Lenovo? This time it is IdeaPad S400 and here are all of the numbers I can see on it.
One after another, two replacement batteries got shipped to me, and they both fail but differently.
The first one quickly charged to 100% but then only held for 15 min and said that its capacity became 12% of design capacity.
The second one says that it charges but always shows 80% charge and does not hold at all.
I'd like to eliminate the possibility that it is the laptop's fault before I go blame the battery seller.

I do have the schematic for this model. The logic board is part # LA-8952PR01.

Mon2 has a heart as big as a whale! Thank you so much for this!

It is too early to feel confident and call it a day, but it looks like the reason for the 2nd replacement battery to have issues was contaminated contact blades. I ended up removing and reinserting it a dozen times, and it began to take and hold charge. They have probably been stored in a humid environment for so many years and got oxidized. The 1st one is still dead though.

Np. You can try some of the ideas here:

                    https://www.reddit.com/r/batteries/c...ery_corrosion/

Ironically, last night had to replace some dead 'AAA' from a Costco heater remote which was fitted with Duracells. Took a screwdriver acting like a crowbar to yank out the dead yet stuck and leaky cells. Nasty. Princess Auto has a set of rather slim nail files in assorted shapes under their 'Powerfist' brand that is good to clean up contacts.

The first, dead battery is clearly a fake.
I took it apart, and the cells in it take about 5 seconds to charge from 1.6V to 2.1V, and there the charge ends. On a V-meter they show anywhere from 1.67 to 1.89V.
They feel too heavy, and on a digital scale they weigh 42 g whereas my known good li-ion cells weigh 28 g. Suspecting they are NiMH or NiCd even though they are stamped Li-ion 3.7V?

Lenovo P43s won't boot with internal battery connected – looking for help diagnosing battery issue
                        by code share
                        Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with my Lenovo ThinkPad P43s. The laptop does not power on when the internal battery is connected, but it works fine on AC power alone (battery disconnected). Once the battery is reconnected, the system becomes completely unresponsive — no lights, no fan spin, nothing.

Here's what I've tried so far:
                        • Power/EC reset (held power button for 60 seconds with battery and AC disconnected)
                        • Booted successfully on AC power only with the battery disconnected
                        • Visual inspection of the battery — no swelling, burn marks, or connector damage
                        • Battery

Lenovo ThinkPad P15 Gen2 Battery Mosfet Replacement

                        Hey there,

first time posting here. I have been lurking a bit trying to find a solution but with little to no avail.

So I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P15 Gen2. When I got it (for free) it was turning on but not charging because the battery was unplugged. When I plug the battery in, the Laptop won't boot at all.

                        Specs:
                        • Type: Lenovo ThinkPad P15 Gen2 20YQ-001KGE
                        • CPU, GPU, RAM work fine (not involved in the Problem)

So the first thought was to toss the battery and get a new one, as clearly the BMS is throwing errors or something.

                        Now I noticed...

ASUS X571 no power : battery issue?
                        by mkdj
                        Hello everyone,

                        Mark and model: ASUS X571
Symptoms: not turning on. There is only the LED battery indicator working. The owner of the laptop told me this problem arrived one week after having changed the battery. He then managed to power on the laptop only once, and then it never powered on again.

                        Tests already made:
                        - Battery is charging when laptop is plugged in. The LED battery indicator turns white after a couple of hours of charge, indicating that battery is fully charged. However, laptop won't turn on anyway, with or without AC plug.
                        - I have removed...

Strange battery present behaviour in Lenovo Legion 5-15ARH05 mb model nm-d041
                        by ferah831208
Hello guys, i need help with this problem, I have a NM-D041 mobo, it came with low impedance in 3v linear regulator rail, the cause was a damaged EC controller ITE8227e-192. I ordered a new one and replaced it. This laptop have a different chip for keyboard management and it8227e pins for programming ITE chips are not accesible through keyboard interface, I flashed it using i2c interface pins with vertyanov programmer because laptop was dead and SPI flash didn't have power (only 3v EC) so it couldn't access firmware stored in SPI memory. I read SPI and extracted it8227 firmware from original BIOS...

Lenovo Carbon X1 Battery not charging
                        by mferna14
Hi, Working on a Lenovo X1 Carbon 1st Gen (Type 3444) Laptop. Came in for battery problems. Upon testing the battery, I noticed that one of the cells is bursted & has to be replaced. Ordered a Brand New battery. Now it works on battery but does not charge at all. I see in Windows 10 it shows the charging sign & AC power connected but stuck on 79%. I did a press-in switch reset at the botton of the laptop, but did not help. Checked the Voltage on the chip BQ24760RSBR, all seem to be fine. Battery voltages are ok 14.4v but on the battery coil L24, when AC is plugged in I only get 1.8V. Then...
