30 pin screen to 40 pin

Help. . My original laptop has a 30 pin connector and i con not find it and i have screen is 40 pins. Can I convert lvds socket to 40pin

First you need to check if the laptop & the screen are of the same type ( eDP or LVDS). Then you can find an adapter, but need to check if it will fit inside the screen assembly.
