Dell Inspiron N5010 no video with 8 beeps

Ram, CPU and BIOS all ok, board seems to be clean and there is no sign of liquid contact or drop or crack. When I press power button it gives 8 short beeps without no display. I properly reballed GPU just to be sure it isn't video chip related but nothing changed.
Requesting your help please.

8 beep means no display to LCD, just test a new LCD.

dspok is right, I do recall that some Dell laptop I do encounter beeps when screen not fitted. Basically try another screen or LVDS cable.

Wait....
Today came in N4010, same 8 beeps.
After removing the board out of the body, I tried powering it up while connected to external monitor. Board booted, but display on monitor is all fuzzy. Checked the panel and LVDS cable, seems fine.

Did a reflow on the GPU and works fines. Haven't changes the gpu though as my client just ask me to get it working again on a tight budget.

Today came in N4010, same 8 beeps.

I also have a Dell Inspiron N5010 with same issue: bo boot,only 8 short beeps.I removed the lcd cable and powered up only external display connected but still no boot and still 8 beeps so there is no problem with lcd cable.I think is GPU fault,i noticed that the GPU become very hot few seconds after power up,i guess that is not good.i will reball the GPU and if it does not work i will change it.
i will keep you informed...

Spidey which GPU chip set does it have? It might need to be changed not just reballing.

My case is beyond the LVDS cable. Owner laterly said unit was dropped short time ago so I returned it.

Recently given a Dell 5010 which had been dropped and gave 8 beeps with no display.
Plugging in an external monitor would show the display and the beeps would stop. Entering the diagnostics screen via the F12 key at post also confirmed that the video card and screen passed tests but the LVDS cable was not found - test failed.
Found that the LVDS cable had come loose from the socket located underneath the keyboard.
Laptop works great now

another 5010 with same problem ! (previous one was returned because impatient customer)
this one has same symptoms with just a little difference. it gives 8 beeps with its own LCD but when I connect another testing LCD it stops beeping but doesn't give video anyway. because of this case I can't say LVDS cable is defective,
any ideas ?

What gpu does it have? Connecting external monitor does it bypass the errors?

Nice. I searched a little bit and found out that there are 2 models? One with intel's gpu and one with ati gpu right? Can you please tell the number of the ati gpu?
