What changed? Now you have voltages on pin 17 of PU300? Post 78 had no voltage at all.

Does your battery have a charge? The higher voltage source should be presented onto pin 17 of PU300.

Before I was using the JUSBC2.
I do not have the battery connected and I believed it is completely discharge

Confirm if you have the proper voltage @ PL501 to ground (+3VALWP) using the same (working) USB Type C connector.

Measure the voltage to ground of the following on PU501:

Vin pins 2-3-4-5 ; any of these is ok
                    EN2 pin 11 ; ENLDO_3V5V
                    LDO pin 17 ; 3VLP LDO rail

                    Post each measurement.

Thanks mon2 below are the voltages on
                      PU501:
                      Vin pins 2-3-4-5 = 8.38VDC
                      EN2 pin 11 = 4.087VDC
                      LDO pin 17 = 3.354VDC

What is the voltage to ground of:

ALWON ; mated with EN1 pin # 12 and is driven by the EC

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.

What is the resistance in ohms to ground of PL501 (either side of this inductor is ok).

Sorry. My bad. Getting the PU501 mixed with PU500.

Do share the voltages and resistance checks on PU501 as well which are linked to the +5VALWP and +5VALW rails.

PU500 is linked to PL501 = +3VALWP = +3VALW. Is this PL501 @ 31 ohms to ground? This is of concern as this is a low resistance.

Review the block diagram on where the voltage from PL501 travels.

Each load / target is a suspect. Someone is (partially) shorted on this rail.

Start with the load switch @ U11. Inspect for damage. The part should be large enough to flux and remove. Keep track of pin # 1 orientation. Concern of course is that this load switch powers the PCH. Someone most likely downstream consumed too much current for whatever reason and perhaps killed the load switch in the process. If comfortable, flux and remove this part and test the resistance to ground again. Do not power up without the part. We are only hunting for the defective next stage part that follows the +3VALW power rail.

The PCH (CPU) may be shorted. Confirm the resistance to ground on pins 13 / 14 of U11. This is a very low resistance to ground.

Next, flux and remove U11. Then measure the same points to ground again.

removed U11 and measure pin 13 and 14 to ground and I am reading 0 ohms. I guess it is a no fix. Thank you so much mon2. I really learn a lot from you and this amazing website. Thanks everyone that helped.
