Just wanted to specify whether it is possible to unlock the bios by shorting 5-6 pins for EEPROM. The method works for majority of thinkpads.

The motherboard is LI6 DA0LI6MBAD0 REV: D

Hello everyone,

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

Lenovo Thinkpad X1 carbon 11th Gen BIOS problem

Hi everyone.

I have an engineering sample of a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 11th Gen (TYPE 21HM-2FVT05, S/N PF-40G7CD) with an Intel Core i7 1360P (ES – Intel 0000). Since this is an engineering sample, the BIOS had a massive number of various settings.
