yes, pin 95 0 volt also without power botton

edit: make a wire connection from d45 to pin 95 ?

      Re: acer 5920g

I think you've got the pin count wrong (D45)...doesn't make any sense...
Could you post a pic with readings???

        Absolutely not...
I'm not sure if you understood me...
Measure the voltages without the power board...I mean disconnect it from mobo...actually disconect everything except charger / adapter...

If so..check the resistance of PIN95....

I'm not gonna do any final conclusion...But there's another signal related to South / ICH...Basically this mobo has pwr on & 2nd pwr on signal, which is basically kind of "instant boot"...The problem may lay there as well...

                Re: acer 5920g

in 2011 i had 2 notebooks like this with mxm video cards.
one no display and one like this.
on one was the video and the other the mobo.
the video and the motherboard got to meet my OVEN friend
apparently the one with mxm problem died after 6 months and we did it again and the other its still running
Just cook it! It's already broken.

Hi I have an acer 4520 laptop no power no light nothing when pressed power button.
I started checking tps51120 which shows standby 5v & 3.3v , power button shows 3.3v & on pressing power button I get 3.3 volt at RSMRST & S5_ON pin of sio chip. Please guide me what to do next.

                    Link for datasheet.

i got this laptop 5920g motherboard , turning on then off after 2 sec , instantly cheking i got values on S0 states.
i just got the board , and not the mxm module here , so found out bios was dead , reflashed and now turn on and stay on , but since i dont have the MXM, cpu not getting hot , i know it receive 1.05 volts but then i drop to 0 , but still stay on , this is duye not having the MXM Card inserted ?
                      just to know !!

try to flash bios again. and would be better for you to open a new thread as it is not related to a 5920g.

ok i got this 5920g. without mxm it show white screen and u can her windows sound, so it's working like all normal. no voltage drop and nothing. pc is on and all voltage are present even if no mxm card inserted.

If it drops CPU voltage, that means CPU or something in 1.05 rail is faulty...I would try another CPU & check CPU voltage regulator...didn't see schematics, but heck resistance of coil (or both if applicable) WITHOUT CPU...btw if it droped voltage after start up sequence, that most likely means the CPU rail got in a kind of protection mode...

hi again. today i gived a look at 2 5920g board i have here.

one was with no voltage on pin 95 (nbswon). now i have replaced kb ec and now i have voltage on pin 95 and it goes to 0 when i press power botton, but notebook didnt give any sign of life. this mainboard do like exact the second board i have here. is it a intel chipset problem ? where can i look at ?
