    Problem Asus Main Board TP412UA REV.3.0

    Hello everyone, I kindly wanted to ask you for advice, on this PC as soon as I connect the power cable without doing anything the part where the CPU, GPU is heated up, with the bench power supply it absorbs 600 mA, without battery, kindly since I'm here various coils almost short what can we start doing? thanks for any advice

    I have worked on one of these ages back, no boardview or schematic available. I did write up this at the time:

    AVTK 684 --> AVT* NB687gq-v (RAM)
    ALTJ 228 --> ALT* NB679gd-z (+5V)
    L8= --> RT6256B (+3.3V)
    K6= --> RT6228A (PCH I think, prob 1V)
    RT3602AC (CPU driver)
    BQ24780S charger IC
    ITE 8987E BXA (128kb flash memory)

    What IC is next to the coil that has 0 ohms to ground?
