Strange fault on Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen. 2

    Hello,
    I have a strange fault with a Lenovo ThinkPad E14 G2 (Board No. NM-D011 Rev. 1.0).

The first Problem, which I fixed already, was a dead TPS65944AD (USB Type-C) controller. After I fixed this fault, all functions working fine and the notebook run very well with the charger and battery.
On the next day, I tied to start the notebook with the battery, but nothing happened. I started with the charger and on windows, I saw, that the battery was empty. And this was nearly impossible, because the battery was charged. I disconnected the battery and found out, that the board took around 100 mA if it is off. I replaced the BQ25710 (Battery Charge Controller) and the single board (without any connections) take around 60 mA.
I checked every trace with the multimeter and I injected power with the power supply, but I doesn't find any (parcel) short. If I take out the BQ-chip, the board take only 10 mA and this is fine.
And now, on this point, I haven't any further Idea.
Had somebody any idea or know this kind of fault?

    1) board runs ok with the type C adapter?

    2) board runs ok if using a pre-charged battery?

    3) board is not charging the battery?

    4) test with another known good battery. Try Amazon since you can return the battery if it is not required.

    5) carefully measure and post all voltages on the charger ic with and without the battery.

    6) double check your soldering of the replacement charger ic. Often the fault is here. Does Windows report the full details of the battery? If not, check the smbus lines on the charger ic and the battery connector.
