    No Display through HDMI

I have an acer swift 3 sf315-41 model and recently i stared facing issues through the hdmi port, i checked the port it looks fine and when i try to unplug the main display from the motherboard and connecting only the external monitor through hdmi the screen shows the acer logo and windows loading screen and just before the login screen and display reverts back to the no signal, monitor works just fine with my other pc, and when i try to plug both the screen and try to boot only the main screen shows output and works fine, i even reformatted the os and bios is to the latest version but the monitor connected thru the hdmi is just not detected in the windows display section as well as in device manager please help

Fault may be with your HDMI cable. Do try a known good and perhaps even a better grade cable. The video card driver kicks in likely near the login screen and that may be the root cause. Try to boot your Windows in SAFE mode and test if the external HDMI display continues to function right upto the desktop. In the SAFE mode of Windows, the device drivers for the video card will not be loaded. Post your update.

Respectively, it is vital that you have the proper vendor supplied (Acer) device drivers for your hardware including the video card. Often the computer manufacturer will tweak their hardware to their own desired specifications with the device driver will also be customized.
