HP Pavilion DV1000 No Turning On

Hi

I have a HP Pavilion DV1000 and is not turning on the led power sometime blink and sometimes not.The laptop sometimes power on for 2-3 seconds and turn off with a clicking sound.I disassemble the laptop and searched where the sound is comming from and i see R2 near power jack that make a blue light and the clicking sound i think so.Please help me to repair this laptop.

what is the MB model? do you have a schematic for it?

The MB model is HP 393655-001 and I dont have schematic for it.

in the past i have repaired some intel boards, they ware dead completely

the reason was shorted caps between cpu and dc jack like on the picture (marked red color)

i should check in the capacitors in the board or separately the board

you can remove one leg from motherboard

I remove a leg from the motherboard and they are not shorted

Are you sure, this is the mobo code ? you should supply the correct code for schematic. dv1000 is not hard to find, just tell the code.

Yes this is the code is a intel mobo.

The number you gave is an hp part number. Give the code that is directly printed on the motherboard (not sticker).

See if this schematic match your motherboard. (BTW I can`t find R2)

go with the dmm and check random for short maybe you get lucky if don`t wanna search for the correct schematic. if you do find it tell us so we can read it to
