        sorry for post in this thread taht im not owner. i wont to start a new thread cause my account is recently createe. I got a similar problem my m5010 dell inspiron laptop had a burned chip. named

        line 2 : m.18

              Sorry for reopen comment. I had the same issue. Remove coil but it still hot burning. Dell 5010 rt8205b
              When i take out rt8205b no anything. But resold it hot. Pin 13 en is 18vol

                Remove all power. Check the resistance to ground on the output rail of rt8205b. The enable at 1v8 is enabling the voltage rail. If this regulator is hot then the downstream rail is too high for this component.

                  Thank you all friends. Finally, i found a small capacitor in RTC power circuit short. The resistor to ground of pin 8 has 107k. Then when remove its 0L. Everything is ok
