    HP DV9000 again

    So im thinking to make xtra fan for gpu and it does fit under the chassis&bottom case ..dc5 v 0.19 amps but witch is the best way the to get that 5v?can i connect to original fan?i doubt that..

    You can, in fact, connect to the original fan. Red wire is +5v, black wire is ground. But the fan you attach will not benefit from the speed control, it will just run maxed all the time. You'll need a bit more circuitry to accomplish that if you desire.

      OK,thanks for reply,thats all what i need to know,will do some mods before doing all that thing.And fan is EL silencio

        usb port +5v alfa dont connect to the original fan

            how about a copper shim on the gpu instead of the fan?
