    Dell Latitude D620 Power issue

Okay, I'm starting another project before I move, probably a bad idea, but I want to get this puppy going before I head up to see some friends in case I can make it a gift.

Its another round plug Dell with the power light on the AC adapter going out as soon as plugged in. I checked what I could of the AC jack and it seems fine, its hard to test that center pin.

Which might lead it to be the mosfetts. Trick is I am not terribly good at understanding these guys yet. Especially when they have 8 pins.

Here's some photos of that area of the board.

Any suggestions where to start would be grand.

I think I have found some of the datasheets on some of them...

It looks like one of them on top has a drain on the bottom of it??

      Looking for Dell Latitude 5520 / 5530 / 5540 RJ45 network connector replacement
      by diamon
I have a Dell Latitude 5530 with a damaged RJ45 network connector. See the attached pictures.

Have already searched on Farnell / Aliexpress / Ebay and had contact with several suppliers on Aliexpress and Ebay, but they cannot deliver this connector.
Is there someone inside the EU, who has these connector(s) or perhaps defective motherboard(s) for these laptop models I have mentioned in the topic title.

Dell Latitude 3510 Overheating & Fan Control Issue – Need Help
      by Ven
Dell Latitude 3510 (Intel Core i7-10510U) CPU Overheating

      Issue Description:
      1. CPU Overheating to 100°C
        • When I start the laptop from a cold state, it takes about a minute to reach temps around 80-90-100°C, and CPU thermal throttling triggers.
        • When the CPU fan is running at full speed (by disconnecting PWM and TACH cables), CPU temperature stays around 50-60°C.
        • However, when the fan is connected normally to the motherboard, it does not kick in at high temperatures.
        • I also noticed a few times that the fan kicked in for a very short time, but it does not stay on consistently.

Dell Latitude 5420 does not start (no post) need help to find the reason why
      by F R 2568
      Hello all,

this is my first post, so if I make mistakes please do not hesitate to point them out, thank you in advance.

I got a Dell Latitude 5420 (Service Tag: 7RFM6D3, Motherboard: GDF40 LA-491P Rev.: 2.0 (A01)) which does not start and I want to repair it. These are the symptoms:

If the laptop is only connected to the AC adapter (battery removed):

When I press the power button, the keyboard backlight and the display backlight are turning on. Caps key light is lightning, but key does not respond to pressing it.

      The power/battery...

Dell Latitude 5320 USB-C port issue
      by D3D_Tray
      Hey guys,

so my half-year out of warranty Dell Latitiude 5320 (19817-1 SOUTH PEAK 13 10L) w/ i5-1145G7 and 16GB just started to act weirdly...

The first/upper USB-C/TB port suddenly didn't accepted the charger every time and sometimes only a different one... or with a different cable but so far, the self-diagnostics didn't noticed anything so I suspected a dirty port.

Today however... it stopped completely to accept a charger, the second/bottom one however does and after a half an hour, I notice something getting hot under there... blazing hot!
