          Safety locks aren't present. Keys on mosfets are applied, cope controlers.

            my board Q506, Q507, Q508 all using same IC 4825p. Q508 4 legs measure 19v other 4 legs showing 0v. Q506 and Q507 only 1 legs showing 19v the rest of the legs showing 0v. it is normal?

              my 6920g the led will light up but won't boot. only flashing on/off the power led indicator. no display at all, total black screen.

              btw where is this NEC Oe97 cap located?

                OE97 = 900uF ( mod caps 2 * 470uF 2.5v )
                OE128 = 1200uF ( mod caps 4 * 330uF 2.5 )

                So , are you sure Nec OE097 can be use with 4 * 330 caps ?

                    Q508 is a mosfet with an internal diode properly polarized to conduct. So if you have 19v. applied to pins 5,6,7,8 and have nothing in pins 1,2 and 3; this mosfet is bad. you have to replace it.

                      Re: acer aspire 6920g power problem

                      Hi to all.
                      I have a 6920g with power issues.
                      When i plug the AC power adaptor i can see the light of two blue led near the power button, but when i press the button nothing else happens.
                      I have tried with several power adaptors and i have tried with only the battery...when i press the power button nothing else happens.
                      I have read the precedent posts and i have tested the voltage on Q508 and Q507: i have 19V on 1,2,3 pins, i have 19V on 5,6,7,8 pins and 13V on pin 4.
                      On Q506 i have only 19V on pin 1,2,3,4.
                      Do you have some ideas?
                      Thanks.

                        This looks ok, so next check 5V and 3V always.
