Where to buy reball stuff ?

I use ebay but sometime I need something fast, and I wont wait package 30 days or more to arrive from HK or China, in EU I do not see one shop who got items on stock, If has the is too expensive.

I assume you talk about solder paste...

    Order it from

    Farnell http://uk.farnell.com/solder-paste
    or RS-Online http://uk.rs-online.com/web/c/?searc...+paste&sra=oss

Both should have Italian or Slovenian versions oftheir sites.

Good paste is expensive, as it has to keep cold and only taken out of the fridge about 10 hours or so before you actually use it.
The pastes from eBay are generally crap, and the 30 days of having those in g. knows what temperatures can't be good.

Need real mobo dump of BIOS v402 for ASUS PRIME Z590-A - stock image no help
        by DynaxSC
        Hi,

I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

Usually on ASUS boards it worked...

Backlight strip quality, Amazon vs Ebay vs ShopJimmy. Is there really a difference?
        by DXseekerMO
        Hello everyone!

Recently I've noticed that some ShopJimmy backlight strips don't have double-sided tape installed upon them when an application calls for it, and I must purchase the tape separately. In a recent chat conversation with a customer service agent I told them if this tape wasn't applied when it was called for I would begin to consider ordering my backlight strips elsewhere. It looks like this time may have come.

I recently got a TCL 65S4 with bad backlights. After looking at the SJ listing here: https://www.shopjimmy.com/tcl-jl-d65...365as-m-led-ba...

Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6 Not Posting
        by ResoluteHawk
I have a customer that brought in a Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6. The problem is that the laptop is not posting.

My first thought was to take out the DRAM and put it back in.
        No POST.

Then I swapped the dedicated RAM with good known working RAM.
        No change.

I then measured to see if 1.2V was being generated for the memory to turn on, so I measured PL600 which is where the output of the 1.2V rail is.
Resistance was good; measuring ~40Ohms with the slotted RAM in.

I took the slotted memory out and measured again.
        Resistance with...

        Casing Power MPT-301 [PCB ATX9806b-p REV: A3]
        by momaka
This one should make @Pentium4 smile (if he is still reading BCN forums) – I got a new old stock / open box Casing Power MPT-301 PSU on eBay for $4 total.

Yes, it’s a very generic-looking box, but the manufacturer isn’t (at least not back in the days), which is…

        Macron Power Technology Co. LTD.

Let’s look at the PSU itself.

The shell/case also appears quite generic, like many “sold-with-the-PC-case” units. However, the shell is well-formed and has decent steel thickness. In terms of...

MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 - real bios dump from board needed (no stock bios)
        by DynaxSC
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).

I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...
