    Sony PCG-61411L No power

This laptop has power problems, the DC jack and AC adapter are working fine.

The board gets power. but i do not know where to go from there. The lights do not power on with or without battery. Pressing the power button does not do anything.

Does anyone have any tips on what i should check?

    It is a i3, 330 nvidia graphics.

I took pictures of the power section of the mainboard. I can take pictures of the whole board if nesscary.

when the adapter plug-in, is there any light indicator charging battery ???
if yes, try check the power button switch, or its flexible may be broken.

There is no light at all. I have checked the board and the power switch works.

there are certain condition, go simple first
        1. adapter jack has cold-solder, resolder it again or replace with new one.
        2. or may be shorted jack
        3. there may be open/broken fuse, find label mark with Fn (n as number)...

Adapter is fine, board recieves full power so that is ruled out.
No cold solder joints, its a plug in type DC jack.
I have checked all of the fuses and they seem to be fine.

That is not soldered on at all so it was like that at the factory.

I have not checked the diodes yet. Do you have any tips on doing so?
