    HP Mini 110-1025DX Laptop Help Needed!

    When the charger is plugged in,the hard drive light blinks,and the laptop won't turn on.No charging light either.I see in the service manual that there is a board called a power/battery passthrough that has the battery terminals on it,as well as the DC plug.Could this be the problem,or is it the motherboard?Is there a way to test the powerboard,or the fact that the hard drive light is blinking the board is working?I haven't opened the laptop to see if the hard drive is still in it,but I would think that it should at least turn on without a hard drive installed.I also thought that if the powerboard is good,it should at least charge the battery.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank You very much!

          i have the same issue on a asus netbook.

          power adaptor led blinks when inserted to power jack of the netbook.
