    Laptop battery reconditioning possible?

Hello to everyone. I have a dead laptop battery coming from a Lenovo laptop. It can't be charged (if I recall well, when it was still fitted it wasn't detected either) but, if I check the three packs it is made of, their voltage is fine (I get the same reading from all the three, 3.7V).
I tend to believe it could be something wrong with the control circuit: is it something repairable and eventually what are the components to check for starters?
I tend to believe the best resort is just dismantling it and see if the three battery packs could be used separately for another project but I may be wrong (and I have to say I hope that). Thanks in advance to everyone for your advices!

there are different things that might work . best one is a tool that can reset it . down and dirty is force charge it for a few seconds then try normally .
