    Well, all the new chips does comes from CHINA and we all are using them. We dont face any issue in soldering a new chip from china. Sufficient suggestions have been made-so nothing more to add from me on this topic. Btw,We never undermine any members capability.We make comments based on the discussion.

      Best is retin the chip before you soldered some ic 's have oxidation on the pats . Tin the chip with flux and unleaded solder before you solder it then wick it of then you good to go.

        What does it means "retin the chip"? And why sould I use unleaded solder instead of leaded? Thanks

          Re-tin=applying some fresh solder on the pads and pins of new IC.
