Measure the voltages and resistances from all coils. Is the motherboard LA-H501P? How much current does the motherboard take when plugged in?

Check for 3.3v on battery connector first, with adapter plugged in. That way we can get an idea where to start measuring.

there are the readings for the resistance

hi thanks for the reply I have my meter set to 2000 ohms

            and get the following readings

            PL301 34 ohms

PL501 my meter shows it counting up then 1 (I think means out of range)

PLB1 my meter shows it counting up then 1 (I think means out of range)

            PL1101 30 ohms

PCV36 my meter shows it counting up then 1 (I think means out of range)

Locate the 3V PWM and check for +3V LDO present or not

I didnt ask for 3V ALW. You need to look for 3V LDO(+3V LP).

                        Re: Acer Nitro 5 Dead

The 3v3 LDO is often a local rail on the same controller IC. Being a ldo, usually the current support is low to power a small circuit.

If this LDO rail is not active, check the enable pins for this controller and their voltage to ground. Share the part markings of this regulator ic so we can check the datasheet. Also check the resistance to ground of the non-working voltage rail(s).

ok I've found 3v3 LDO and its showing nothing.

in ohms mode it says 530 ohms

I can't read the chip sadly its soo small.

Measure the voltage on pin: 2, 9, 11, 12, 17 and 20 PU301. With the motherboard off, measure the resistance to ground at n.8 UH2

If 3V LDO rail resistance to GND is indeed 530 Ohms, then its shorted. the resistance here should be in Kohms. Very likely a shorted EC.

You can look in schematic or datasheet for +3V LP pin of PWM. Its been days and you still cant confirm whether its present or not and its resistance to GND. All suggestions have been given.Where are your follow ups?
