    FZ-G1R add lan card, problem

    Hi all !

    FZ-G1R3000VJ
    DHLB1030ZD/X1

I have a laptop, it initially did not have a network lan card rj45, I ordered a card, inserted it, it did not appear in the device manager.
I thought maybe the problem is in the BIOS, I found similar ones on the site, wrote it down, tried five pieces already, nothing has changed.
Network card not showing up in bios settings

maybe the card is not suitable for my laptop at all or I'm using the wrong bios?

Do you have the manual? if you do, check page 65~71 Switching the Concealed Mode
Starting the Setup Utility, Advanced menu, LAN enable/disable

It might have the LAN disabled

What is listed under Peripheral Configuration? That is where the LAN can be enabled/disabled I don't have one of these to try myself, I am only going by what is in the manual.
It may also be in some hidden menu somewhere like Optional Kit Configuration

all the same, it was in the BIOS, I found it, corrected it, another small problem in the drivers, but it all worked

              Hello Rumper,

              I’m facing a similar problem, I bought a FZ-G1 with a LAN port but I doesn’t get recognized.

I had the BIOS V4.00L15 that had the option to enable LAN but the setting would not stay saved.

I upgraded to V4.00L25 thinking that it would allow me to enable LAN but I have even less options.

What version of BIOS are you using ? V4.00L13 ?

              Thanks

                Samsung UN55JU650DF network/streaming problem
                by howardc64
Fixed a 9 year old UN55JU650 by replacing backlight. Original backlight LED was still working after 27k! hours but terrible picture of course. Few LEDs were out, 5-6 lens fell off (bright white spots) and another few popped off with slightest force. Surviving LEDs were all slightly blue so picture has a blue tint.

Nintendo 2DS SD Card Reader issue. Problem on the clock line?
                by Technomancer
I have a 2DS that I am working on that has a problem reading SD cards. It knows that card is in the slot (which, means the detect pin is working anyway) but it says it can’t read the card.

Here is what I have done so far:
-Tried SD card in another 2DS and on PC, works great.
-Tried piggybacking another SD card slot (just so I didn’t have to take the other one off), same issue.
-Compared voltage drop readings from a working 2DS to the faulty one. All reads are very close except one, the 7th pin from the left, with the pins closest to you, which I believe...

                Home network connection problem
                by davg
I just bought a new ThinkPad laptop and I need to connect it to my home network. I have several computers on my network and can see each other in File Explorer and the older ones can communicate with each other (even with the new one) but the ThinkPad can see the other computers but can't communicate with them. I get the (network error 0x80070035 The network path not found). I tried several scenarios that I found on line but none of them worked?? Since the other computers on the network can communicate fine I'm assuming the problem is with the setup of the ThinkPad? All computers are running Windows...
