    Apple iPad A2197 - stuck on 0.08a

    Hi,

Both with the lightning cable or with the powersupply directly on the battery connector the device is stuck on 0.08a powerdraw.

Nothing gets hot at all. I don't work on many iPads so no clue where to go from here.

    Took some quick measurements:
    PPVCC_MAIN 4.5v
    PPVDD_CPU 0.9v
PPVDD_GPU 0.0v (no screen attached so guessing that's normal)
    PP0V9_NAND 0.9v

    edit:
To put the device aside for a bit I partially put it back together and plugged it in out of curiosity. Devices takes 2.3a one time, until I unplug it. Then when I plug it back in it's stuck on 0.08a again until I disconnect the battery for a few sec, then I can reproduce the 2.3a powerdraw. When it draws 2.3a the PMIC goes to 40 degrees celcius, but that's it.

Apple iPad Pro 3rd Generation 12.9" (A1876) No Power/Charge When Screen Is Connected
    by grimacelord
    Hello.

Working on an Apple iPad Pro 3rd Generation 12.9" that has a weird issue. When the display is NOT connected, the iPad will charge and power on normally. I know it's on because I can hear notification sounds and the charging notification sound.

If I connect a brand new display to the logic board, the iPad will not turn on at all. When I connect the iPad to an 18W wall charger and a USB-C ammeter, I can see that the iPad is attempting to charge, but constantly "resets" after just a moment or two.

For example, when I connect the iPad to...

Apple Watch Charging Controller Schematics / Boardview - 820-02601
    by a_p3rson
    Hi there,

I'm looking for anyone who might have information on Apple's embedded Apple Watch charging daughterboard, ID 820-02601. This is currently used by Anker in their Apple Watch charging products, but likely by other Apple partner brands as well.

You can see the board referenced in ChargerLab's teardown of the Anker Y1811 3-in-1 MagSafe cube - they discuss the "Apple Watch wireless charging circuit" about 2/3rds down the page. It's not pictured, but the board ID reads 820-02601-A, which sure sounds like Apple.
    This daughterboard uses an interesting...

Apple 820-01958-A logic board stuck on 5V .19amp
    by mferna14
Hi friends, working on a MacBook Air A2179 logic board 820-01958-A logic board. It's just stuck on 5V .19amp on one USB-port & then when I use to the other port it's also stuck on 5V .19amp but on this port it resets after few secs & start over with the same said voltage. I assumed that one of the CD3217B12s is defective, & replaced both with known good ICs. The status & result remains the same. I checked for shorts or liquid spill, all clear. On F8400 there is 12v present, but no 5V or 3.3 volts. There are LDO voltages on the both CDs 3.2v & 1.5V. Kindly if someone can help...

Macbook Air 2015 Booting Very Slow and Stuck on apple Logo 99%
    by platinumsteel
Hi guys i have my personal MacBook Pro 2015 820-00165 board that was working fine for more than a year and one day stopped working on my original Magsafe charger. It was turning on with my bench power supply. Opened it up and while diagnosing that somehow i ended up with a shorted smc.The line which was shorted was SMC_PM_G2_EN. I removed the SMC and short was gone. So all I had was another working donor board 820-3435 which i used to program it's SMC to 820-00165 using the SMCTOOL By MuertoGB.Took that SMC and use it on my 820-00165 board .And my board started working again. PPBUS_G3H 8.56V....
