    Lenovo 3000 N200 powering issue

    Hi again guys, thought a new thread would be appropriate for a different machine with different problem,

    We have a lenovo 3000 N200, seems to be powering on ok however, about 3-5 second after it boots it goes into sleep mode... the same happens with battery in/out or ac in/out or combined.

    I have been told this may have something to do with the VGA card, we have swapped out good CPU's RAM' Battery etc... but nothing seems to work.

    Just wondering if anyone has come across something like this before...

    I think i remember seeing something similar to this in a IBM T60 machine a few months ago, it turned out to be a GPU related issue and when we reflowed the GPU it fired the machine up...

    any ideas?... before we try the needy?

      we have a lenovo 3000 y500 problem on on adaptor laptop poperly shutdown but battery not shut down

          Do you mean, it start again moving the mouse?

              after it boots try to unplug the keyboard and the power button maybe its broken
              Just cook it! It's already broken.

                  Hello friends,

                  I've been racking my brain over the past few months on the following issue:
                  I have a Lenovo Ideapad 5 15ARE05 laptop that basically works fine as long it starts up at all.

                  If you shut it down, often you hear the HDD still spinning and the Power LED remains on, it only shuts down if you force it (pressing the power button for like 15 seconds).
                  Then, if you want to Switch it on, nothing happens, only the Power LED lights on, nothing else. If you leave it, then after like 30-60mins it turns on itself.
                  I tried all the common alleged „fixes“...

                  Hi everyone,

                  I'm having an issue with my Lenovo ThinkPad P43s. The laptop does not power on when the internal battery is connected, but it works fine on AC power alone (battery disconnected). Once the battery is reconnected, the system becomes completely unresponsive — no lights, no fan spin, nothing.

                  Here's what I've tried so far:
                  • Power/EC reset (held power button for 60 seconds with battery and AC disconnected)
                  • Booted successfully on AC power only with the battery disconnected
                  • Visual inspection of the battery — no swelling, burn marks, or connector damage

                  Lenovo ideapad 3 15IL05 - ram issue

                  Hi all,
                  I've encountered an issue I've never experienced before..

                  The Lenovo works perfectly, it has 4gb soldered ram and an additional slot. With just the 4gb the laptop passes all tests, everything is working. However no matter what frequency or capacity of ram I add to the extra slot the display starts artifacting completely randomly in both in the bios and in win and the only solution is to shut down.

                  I've inspected the pins of the extra slot with a magnifying and didn't notice anything unusual. I've also tried multiple ram modules, but the issue is the same....
