    Need resistor value R519 Phase_w Fan1_Tach_FB for Dell E4310

I need the value for the resistor R519 on dell E4310 mainboard. nothing to find in boardview. resistor was blown/shorted laptop didnt turn on with fan connected. i desoldered R519 but fan ist cycling up an down continuously now. laptop is running fine now but sounds crazy... Resistir is for PHASE_W FAN1_TACH_FB... rpm not given now but as i said therefore the laptop is working again...

the upper one of two soldered here... nearest to fan

    thanks for help

    UPDATE!
found scematics right now.... is this a zero ohm resistor ??? if yes the one next to it R142 is dead cause it´s reading several kiloohms now...

    Yes.

    It should be "kiloohms" - R142 = 10K_0402 (10KOhm 0402 smd size package)

thanks for your reply. sorry i behaved bit stupid... was looking for scematics for hours then asked and found it on my own...

As u said the resistance seems to be ok. but whats the problem now? got two fans here the original one died with a message from bios before several times. it came back to life few times then it was completely dead. i ordered a used one and built it in now laptop wont stay on with both of them connected...

without it turns on. i got laptop working because i desoldered R519 wich seems to be for one of three phases.... Phase U Phase V Phase W

i dont get it. whats the problem? can u help me? never had to do with such complicated fan circuit.... it´s like frequency converter for motors in some cabinets i have to do in my job..

For hours? It's posted in Schematic subsection:

But there's no boardview, you can post the one you're using at the above thread.

Most probably there's short on that line since the resistor is blown, and the laptop doesn't turn on with the replacement one. Remove all power and measure resistance at all JFAN1 pins.

...thanks Vesko. I added Boardview to this thread for all... yes i searched for couple of hours but not internal in the forum here... google didn´t show a result...

thanks for your help... the resistor isn´t blown because it´s an zero ohm resistor... i thought that it was blown cause i didnt had scematics since we both nearly found out together...
