Does anyone know if U5200 (Intersil 9240HIB3 B203DF) is a chip I can get my hands on? I have a 9230HI B027XG but I don't think that one will work will it? ... Also the logic board around this liquid damage is slightly raised, so I'm concerned it may have an internal short. Is it possible the board will still be ok?

If you have an account with them, it could arrive to you by Monday. We use them often.
This company only works with dealers.
Alternative is AliExpress. We some here as well.. somewhere.

Re: 820-2098
Thanks Mon2! Yes, I do have an account with them and use them often, but although I saw this chip on their site I was not sure if it was compatible as some of the numbers are not the same. I also. have a 9240HI B027XG, I guess I wrote it wrong in my first post. Would this be the same chip also?

Re: 820-2098
Ok, seems that after rebuilding the traces and the ISL chip I have the side with the two USB-C posts showing 5v 0.07a in both directions, but the side with one USB-C post won't show anything on one side, but flip it and it shows 4.6v and 0a ... I would assume that this may be a good sign and that it could be just a CD3217 chip. If that is the case will any CD3217 chip work or will it have to be the CD3217B12BCE that it lists? I feel hopeful!
