Macbook Air A1466 SSD not recognised

My Macbook had suffered liquid damage and after cleaning up the board it won't recognise the SSD. I tried the SSD in another M
acbook and it is fine. I have done some troubleshooting and it looks like the SSD_RESET_L is permanently low. Any ideas where I can try looking next?

You fail to mention which board revision you are working on? There are 3 versions of boards for A1466. Assuming 3437 or 00165, the circuit is identical.

PLT_RESET_L should pull SSD_RESET_L high, unless it's pulled low by the PCH during the initial reset. U3740 should be high on pin 4. Also check that PP3V3_S0SW_SSD and SSD_PWR_EN are indeed present.

Managed to get the board seeing the SSD by reflowing the SMD. Another issue cropped up but not sure if it is related to the SMD......the laptop will work off mains or battery and the battery will take a charge but if I plug in my mains charger while the laptop is on it immediately switches off.

Review the voltage to ground of each pin at the dual input diode that feeds into the 3v42 regulator.

        Post each measurement.
