Yeah it sure sounds like it. What is the max current i can send and still be safe? Maybe try 1.8 amps?

Often the PCH doesn't start to noticeable heat up before pushing 2 or 3Amps.

Cant hurt to send it. I Can try as a last resort. At this point the laptop is scrap anyway lol
