Asus S530U board x530un no charging and no power

    Hello Guys

i have this laptop that i am trying to fix.

i didn´t find any schematic or boardview for this board.

i opened the laptop and i did some checking and i have 5v, 3.3v and 1.2v, i saw a blow resistir but without schematic or boardview i dificult to know the value to replace it.

attached some pictures of the board and the blown resistor, maybe somebody have the same board and let me know the value of that resistor.

i would like to ask if someone have any idea wich ic are those near to that resistor.

one of them i find out is a tps548 but i saw a few versions of it and i not 100% sure wich one is.

maybe somebody can help me here.

    best regards to you all.

The chip with 14 pins is a typical load-switch, so you have two "IN" and two "OUT" when the enable is asserted.aybe 3.3V and 5V, can be also 1.8V or 1.05V, something like that (multimeter time!).

Are you sure there is no other issue beside the burned resistor with the rails where it is connected?

          hello mate

this ic tps 548 have to legs with 3.3v in the same rail of the burned resistor. i didn´t find datashhet for this ic so i really don´t now if there is something wrong with it. i have a few legs of it with 3.3v and i have about 7v in other leg.

          best regards

            pin_1/ 2/ 3/ 4/ and 5 - 3.28v
            pin_6/ 7/ 8 and 9 - 3.3v
            pin_10 - 7.37v
            pin_11 gnd
            pin_12 - 7.42v
            pin_13 and 14 - 3.28v

i really don´t know if this is right or not.

            tank you

Measurements looking good to me. Inputs and Outputs are all present, so I wouldn't expect a issue here.

i was thinking the same but without boardview or schematic or datasheet of that ic i wasn´t 100% sure.

i believe that the burn resistor is a 0 ohm resistor because have to pass the voltage for the small ic 8kb, that´s why i open the threath maybe somebody have the same board to measure values.

                thank you for your help

                  Burn Resistor is 100Kohm

I'm getting the same problem but its shorted on the other side of the tps548 (Pin 13-14). It's not the capacitor or resistors visible.
