    PS5 EDM-033 UART 80810001 Beep 1 second Ligth

Hi everyone, I have a ps5 EDM-033 that beeps, blue light for 1 second and turns off.

reading the error codes via uart gives the following code:

80810001 General power failure (periphery, GDDR6, APU, data line shorted)

checking the card I didn't find any shorts, Boot sequence is quite right 325 mA dropping to 9 mA.

Using the thermal camera I can see the SSD controller and South bridge getting warm.

if I press the power button the RAM also heats up, the processor doesn't seem to. in fact if I go to measure I don't have +1v CORE output.

any advice on what i can check ?

    thanks in advance

I have the same error code, same motherboard. I can also get it to boot if I attach a ch341a clip to the bios / nor and read it's contents and save the file to my desktop. It boots to a white light after that. The next day it will go back to a blue light and powers off. I attached the clip again to the bios and deleted it's contents. I downloaded a fresh copy of the bios / nor for 1215A. Used thecod3rs nor modifier to change the serial number to match mine. Wrote to the bios / nor fine. It booted up and I did a reset to bring it back to defaults. Installed updates. Then I shutdown the console. The next day I tried to power it on and it went back to a blue light and powers off. I am thinking I need to replace the bios /nor chip. I already replaced the cmos battery.

PS5 Slim Beep No Light UART DDR4 Error
        by ChattFix
Hello everyone, I need some help with a PS5 Slim board EDM-040 that will beep but no light or fan spin.

When I connect my bench power supply, (12v 0.500amp) the amps go between .135-.035 then back to .005.

When I attach UART I get the error code below. I have replaced the DDR4 ram IC with one from a donor board. Cannot verify is the IC was working or not, still same error.

Samsung galaxy s21 exynos (sm-g991B/DS) uart pins

        Hi everyone,

Can someone help me with a schematic/boardview of this phone?
I'm looking to identify the rx and tx uart pins on the board.
Because I want to use the usb-port for power and other things, I can not use the uart over usb method.
I took some pictures but without the boardview/schematic it's a bit daunting.

I'm uspecting the masked pads above the ufs chip. (but offcourse I'm not sure).

ROG STRIX Z590-A GAMING WIFI has no POST no BEEP no diag LED
        by Ymotaqi
The motherboard does not POST and has the following symptoms:
When the power button is pressed, the fans and RGB turns on.
When the power button is pressed, the motherboard voltages 12, 5, and 3 are connected.
        The motherboard does not beep.
None of the diagnostic LEDs light up.
        USB voltage is off.
        VCORE voltage is off.
The BIOS software was downloaded from Asus site and installed using the Q FLASH button, but it made no difference.
I would appreciate it if anyone could guide me on the cause of the problem.

Synology MR2200ac mesh router, UART connection - login details?
        by spleenharvester
This particular unit powers up, LEDs behave normally, but broadcasts no SSID, will not mesh with any other routers. Plugging in an ethernet cable from a Windows laptop results in "unidentified network" with an autoconfigured IP address and no response to pinging 192.168.1.1.

I was able to log into serial/UART by connecting the 6-pin header to the GPIO on a Raspberry Pi Zero W (GND to GND, TxD to RxD, RxD to TxD, no connection between +3.3V as it is supplied on both sides) using Minicom, command:

        Code:
sudo minicom --baudrate 115200 --device /dev/ttyS0
        ...

PS5 digital / No Power / No Beep / Good power supply
        by MisterAIL
        Hi everyone,

Brought a non functionnal PS5. Apparently only a bad PSU...
        No beep, nothing.

After some tests i found this :
        - PSU is fine (12 volts stable)
        - 12 volts line is shorted
        - DA9065 was fried, F7003 also => Replaced both of them, short is gone on 12 volts line, no dead short anywhere else.
        - By the way, nothing change. No signal, no power, no beep.

Mesuring all rails with my workbench psu (12 volts input)
        - 0.00 amp drawing
        - 12 volts, 5 volts, 2 volts, 1,15 volts are presents (suppose new DA9065 do is...
