Foremost, I am not an ecu specialist. This ECU: Siemens S11868502 D SIM24 (Ford KA 1.3 Petrol) ended on my bench. It was previously worked on by an unknown technician. The only information I have at hand, is that the owner replaced the ignition coil as the latter caused one of the IGBT's in the ECU to short. The IGBT I can source and replace, but it seems that the previous technician removed 2 components (most probably resistors in a mini-melf package): see attached photo. It seems that schematics and/or board view files does not exist. If there are any ECU specialists that can assist in identifying the 2 removed components, I will really appreciate it.

This is how R3 to R8 connect to the IGBT's (those on the board measure high resistance, they are obviously burnt due to Q1 being shorted, and no resistance colour code is visible anymore):Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Fixed 👍 and vehicle is running again. Received a donor unit with blown ASIC, but IGBT's and resistors were 100%. Replaced both IGBT's and 4 x 2 Ohm resistors (R3,R4,R7 & R8) from donor unit.Comment

by DeXXterHello, so I replaced a soc SRK08 (i3-1115G4) on a hp 14-dq because the 1.8v power supply was shorted and the pch was gone and I installed a SRK05 (i5-1135G7) that I had at hand. And I was wondering if a clean me region is needed after replacing the chip, I usually do this on laptops with separated pch, but with a soc (cpu and pch together) I have no idea. Normally I wouldn't ask this, but I have only the motherboard, no screen nor the adapter, and after I fix this I have to send it to another region so if someone knows about this, some help would be apreciated.

by alpersenOn the right bottom side it has a start/stop button (normally it is illuminated, when I took the picture it was blinking I took at the wrong time
). and the touch area there is not working, maybe if I am able to touch the most right bottom in a maybe 1 square millimeter area it works. also generally if I touch the normal place where the start stop icon is, the weight + and - areas register so there is a touch calibration problem in that area. All icons maybe 60% of the left side register correctly in their respective size. Siemens service recommends replacing the control pcb and screen (nearly...
