Xbox Series X - crashing to dashboard shortly after launching games

Hey all! I've got a XBOX Series X which came in with the complaint of games crashing to the dashboard after launch. I've tested a few games so far. Red Dead Redemption I observed will load up fine and sit on the menu no problem, but once I actually load into the world, it will not complete the load-in, and crash, stating something about an error must be sent to Rockstar, etc.. Truck simulator seemed to work fine. Minecraft loaded up and zoned into a world, but within a few seconds, it too, crashed to the dashboard. Where are the logs stored? What should I check?

    An Xbox One PSU Odyssey
    by TMTGTR
Firstly I am not a tech. You guys may see mistakes or oversights in my methods so don't be bashful and feel free to post corrections/opinions.

    =>Background:
I bought my son a used Xbox One original model: A12-220N1A Rev: 02 with original PSU & 2 controllers 7 years ago. I “modded” the unit placing a 4.5” 12V exhaust fan with a 9v wall wart adapter on top of the vent/fan of the unit. And plugged the Xbox PSU into a Tripplite LTR-600 voltage regulator. Also connected to the Tripplite are a 275w computer tower, an Xbox 360 PSU and a Westinghouse 52” LED TV. ...

    Asus FX505DT Crashing games
    by Czat12
    Hello,

The patient is an Asus FX505DT with a rather mysterious condition.
It crashes every game, sometimes after a while, sometimes after few minutes of playing. In OCCT it throws errors when testing "3D Standard". In 3DMark, after several tests, it also throws an error. The temperatures are OK because I replaced the paste. Temperature CPU max 85°C, GPU max 80°C.

    What I tried:
Fresh system, both Windows 10 and 11.
    New drivers, old drivers.
    Various windows power settings.
    Various Asus power modes
    Changing parameters in the...

    Xbox One S - 12V Rail Short - Q9F1 Keeps Blowing
    by grimacelord
    Hello,

Have an Xbox One S here that has a short on the 12V power rail. There is no power, beep, or partial fan spin when connecting power cable.

After diagnosing with thermal camera, Q9F1 MOSFET (NTTFS4C50N) is getting hot. When I remove this MOSFET, the short on the 12V rail disappears.

I first replaced Q9F1 with one from a donor board and then partially reassembled the Xbox to test. When I plugged the power cord in, I got a partial fan spin and I thought I had fixed it, but unfortunately, the Xbox still did not power on. So I then disassembled the Xbox...
