Steam Deck: how to solder 3 pin POWER BUTTON with one missing (ripped-off) solder pad?

The middle pad (B) on my steam deck's power button got ripped off. I want to bridge the middle pin to a via or another pad but don't know which one. Do you guys know any?

The pads with the stars are all ground.

In case there's no pad I can bridge to, do you know how to turn my deck on without using the power button? Thanks a lot 🙏.

First step is clean up the area with isoprop alcohol including desoldering the remainder of the damage power button. Then very light scrape away where you have white arrow (B) the black paint to see if there is a track going to where the pad used to be. Go very slow and clean the area in between steps. There should be a track there. Don't scrap hard because its mutilayer board.

chickenhawk88 Hey mate. I did what you suggested, i scraped all around the B solder pad and unfortunately, I found no traces. All I found was ground. This is weird. I have also tried to solder the button to only the A and C pads but it didn't work.

Can you take a pic of the area? Really odd that there is no track there.

HP Envy 13-BA1565na with intermittent power button
          by themosttogain
Hope someone can give me some suggestions on this because i'm at my wits end with it...

I have an Envy 13-BA1565na here with an Intel Core i7 i7-1165G7 CPU (board is a LA-J475P Rev 1.0) which has an intermittent power button issue. The power button is integrated into the keyboard, and I have ruled out the keyboard, BIOS and battery as being the issue.

Basically, on mains power, the power button works fairly well. The first time you come to it after leving it sitting (either on charge or not on charge), it might take 2 or 3 presses of the button, but then the laptop boots...

          Steam Deck 14.3v 0amps
          by bogosort
          Hello,

I have this steam deck that has no current draw. I did a visual inspection and found nothing.

No dead short either, but these caps show 20-30ohms.

Any idea where to start? Thank you!

          EDIT:

Noticed something with voltage. Is the component in green faulty?
