Your device still has a second bios chip, find it and post it here, remember to include the sevice tag number.

I have the same problem with admin password and I need the bios for OptiPlex 3000 with tag number : 79X1SN3
I don't know if you need the complete tag number that is also 79X1SN3-8FC8
The second Bios chip is MX77L25650F.
Could you please tell me with which programmer can I program the chip?

I was hoping to learn and solve this bios admin password lock myself, but I believe it may be better to ask for help. Clearing VSS2 on the 32mb chip did not work. Service tag is 7S6CYS3.Comment

Hi, I have Dell precision 5540 laptop from old workplace,decommissioned old stock. its a good spec laptop i9-9880H etc, so I decided to keep it and use it for personal purposes.
I was checking bios settings and I found that Absolute (Computrace) is permanently enabled/activated, and field is grayed out, unable to change it to disabled/deactivated state. The laptop status is clean, absolute has no any warnings or messages booting pre-bios pre-OS or post booting, while using laptop, im just not feeling safe having absolute permanently enabled having backdoor on a bios level enabled to my... -

As explained in my introduction, after many years I finally bricked one computer updating the bios (power shortage).

Model : Optiplex 3070 Micro
Motherboard : 02N3WF
Service Tag : ****
Chip BIOS model : MX25L25673GMI-08G
I'm new at flashing bios directly so I bought a cheap CH341 dongle.
I tried it on an old computer and I successfully read the bios from a MX25L128Z3F chip with the SOP8 Clip.
The I tried to read the Optiplex 3070 chip BIOS to make a backup.... -

The IPCFL-CG platform, after replacing the SR405 chipset, turns on and is fully operational only after resetting the bios battery.
If you turn it off, it blinks twice or once in orange and does not turn on, you need to reset the battery again..
