Asrock H81 Pro BTC rev 1.0 Bios - ME Post error

    Greetings,

I'm in need of a repaired/modified Asrock H81 Pro BTC rev 1.0 Bios, I will attach the bad one as zipped.

The motherboard is struggling to even POST in its current state, but I've had it to POST a couple times for me to see a "ME FW Downgrade - Request MeSpiLock Failed" error message, and even more rarily a couple of times booting straight to windows with a known good windows drive and being stable for a short while.

It's been a while since I've worked on this motherboard but if I recall correctly, I have flashed a couple of bios versions from Asrock support site, headers removed for the correct bin size and couple flashes with headers left in being 'wrong sized' bin.
The attached zip however is the original bios file that got messed up on its own to begin with.

Same struggles when trying to POST (short bootloops and then 'no signal' when it finally stays on, and when waiting for a longer period it just shuts back down itself).

Tested with known good components, with iGPU and with a discrete GPU.

Nothing more can be done with the bios, here is the virgin file from Asrock.

I think you're right, I guess some internal components are done for.

Welp, the board can be used for parts if not for anything else.

            🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
            by macabook
            Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
            🧩 Initial Issue
            • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
            • External display (HDMI) shows

Request: Full BIOS dump for ASRock Z790-CX (DDR5)
            by gabrieljma1
            Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a full raw 16 MB BIOS dump for an ASRock Z790-CX (DDR5) motherboard.

The board powers on (fans spin, RGB lights on, RAM LEDs active), but there is no display output and the VGA and BOOT LEDs stay lit.
I’m using an Intel i9-14900KF CPU (14th gen), and it seems the BIOS version on my board doesn’t support it yet. I tried to flash the official ASRock BIOS file (renamed .ROM → .BIN) directly using my RT809H programmer, but it didn’t work — monitor stays on but with black screen, so I believe the ASRock update file is not a complete...

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo UX8402ZA BIOS
            by pirati
            Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

            Updating a BIOS on ASROCK
            by paulwal
Hi. I am not too up on installing BIOS so am looking for a little direction installing a BIOS update.
            https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/AB350%...index.asp#BIOS

            I have an ASROCK AB350 Pro4 that is running a P3.00 BIOS.
CPU is AMD Ryzen5 1500X which I believe is a "Summit Ridge."
Before I go ahead and update it to the latest version, I thought I would ask whether my plan is right to try and be sure I don't make a mess of things.
It appears that the latest BIOS for this chip is the 5.80; therefore I need to install (one at a time)…
