Hi i have used these , but on ts140 , it take a lot of time for startup and display a first logo splash
then i used a file cleaned from any is8xm motherboard and after that i changed a serial number and other dmi informations with orginal ones and all enter in order , all is good, nowComment

you need first by dump the main bioses after that if that not work you flash the EC eepromComment

lenovo system gives display but restart after some minutes, i checked all relavent parts. tried to clean it but failed

The bios is split across the 8MB and 4MB chips, before you can clean the ME firmware using FIT you have to join both of the files together.The 8MB file has the ME region,so join the 4MB onto the end of the 8MB. Use a hex editor to join the files or some other method or software. After cleaning the ME firmware FIT will split the files back to 8MB and 4MB

I combined both files 8mb+4mb through hex editor and save it new 12mb.bin file (8mb have me region, so its first and 4mb 2nd)
when i opens that new file in Flash tool 9.0, it hangs and afterthat close
even i open the old 8mb me region file, it hangs and afterthat close

my laptop is lenovo flex 5 14ITL05

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.
My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.
The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this... -
Good evening everyone, I have recovered a Lenovo V520 desktop PC, on which I have mounted an NVDIA GF9500GT 512Mb graphics card (and it is not the only one I have tried) to replace the one originally mounted, namely NVIDIA GT730 (Lenovo code FRU01AJ853), I replaced it because it has 2 Display Port outputs that I cannot use, as I don't have such a monitor or DP/VGA converter. So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.

Hope you all are doing well. I come here from Win-Raid because I am having issues disabling Flash Protection Range Registers so I can flash my BIOS from within Windows using Intel's IFW tool/using flashrom within Linux, however I cannot due to the above mentioned error.
