Bios reset on Motherboard ADVANTRON EBC-EA01PSM

    Hi everyone,

I try to get rid of the power on / bios password on a small industry mainboard I found.

It has "EBC-EA01PSM Rev.A101-2" printed on.

The internet tells me it was sold on aliexpress for a while ???

Removing the bios battery gives me at least the following information on top:
    American Megatrends Version 2.15.1226.

Any ideas what to flash on it to make the pw dissapear? I already took a dump of the bios.

    Thanks

        I can't believe it, I found the password via AMITSEDecrypt.py, see https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...etup+Decryptor.

I think the Advantech AIMB-224 is the same, by the way.

        @EineWildeStehlampe, vielen, vielen Dank :-)

Asus ROG Strix Scar G533qm with a G733qm Motherboard, can I modify the Bios to accept G533 Bios
          by glovecaps
          Hello,

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.

My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.

The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this...

Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS

          Hello everyone,

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

          Hey there people
While working on my Acer Aspire with the OS failing to load, I encountered a motherboard number of DA0ZHQMB6E 0 REV: E. I was getting nowhere fast or slow, for that matter.
This is what I tried, but not in any order.

ASUS ex-b250-V7 motherboard bios corrupted - by me
          by oragano
hey all, i did a silly thing and flashed bios to perfectly working board. None of the asus official download bios would work with ez flash. They all gave error saying not supported bios file. I tried using uefi tool to extract it to a bin file but then ez flash wouldnt even recognise it.
So, i used freedos and afudos with the aforementioned bin file i extracted and forced the issue. After bios reprogram, reboot and it was dead. Fans spinning but no post.
i have a bios writer and none of the .cap files from the official site work either. I just get one spin, then off, then all fans...

Is it okay to flash stock bios onto the motherboard's BIOS?
          by AkaBukai
          Hi there,
          I have a 14" Lenovo Laptop (Flex 5 14ALC05) which has a boot issue.
The little LED on the power button is flashing slowly and nothing happen.
This unit do not have any BIOS button cell battery so I tried many times draining the power but it is still not powering on.

So I decided to flash the BIOS using a cheap programmer.
And I was successfully able to read the content (exactly 16MB file) which BTW is a WINBOND 74m12jwsiq (according to the package inscription - but detected as W25Q128FW in the software - IMSProg on Linux)

          I also...
