    HP Rove 20 - DA0QI2MB6E1.

Now, I have both my orig dump and a downloaded Dump.

But the problem is: The downloaded one Clears Serial number and other settings so every time I power on I tells me there are cleared.

Everything works fine except for that.

Can you guys help me? I tried to follow the sticky tutorial about How to fix Asus Bios. Thanks @ala_borbe

But I don't know what to change inside BIOS Region to preserve my Serial number.

Here are both files, but I really want to know how to do it myself for future repairs.

    Thanks!

          p51 uefi chip diagnosis
          by backdoorsecurity
hey all i was messing around with digmorepakas thinkpad firmware advanced menu patches without success "resulted in black screen". i could flash modded file then flash the backup if needed. it got late so i put the p51 away and forgot about it for a month. i recently pulled it back out, flashed the backup file and it blackscreened. "screen turns on no splash". i had originally made 3 backups and diffed them, file integrity was good. i downloaded the files i could find on this site and it boots to splash then boots os but takes about 5-7 minutes to reach splash. i am trying...

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
          by grimacelord
          Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...
