    You got 1802: Unauthorized network ... blb...bla...bla?
And with what card are you want to work with?

The new card is an Intel AX211NGW, but once installed the unit does not even power on

        Supported WiFi cards:

        WLAN + Bluetoothâ„¢
        • Realtek RTL8821CE, 802.11ac Dual Band 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2, M.2 card
        • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265, 802.11ac Dual Band 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2, M.2 Card
        • Intel Wireless-AC 9560, 802.11ac Dual Band 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5.0, Intel vPro technology support, M.2 card
        • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165, 802.11ac Dual Band 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2, M.2 Card
        • Realtek RTL8822BE, 802.11ac Dual Band 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2, M.2 card
You need the Lenovo approved version of the 9560 with vPro support (the non-vPro version won't be detected), or if you manage to patch the whitelist you could probably use an AX210NGW (PCIe interface)

Wireless, CMB, IN, 9560 vPro M2
        Part No 01AX770
Search for that part number on ebay/Aliexpress, and confirm with the seller the FRU on the label

You're trying to use a CNVio2 card (AX211NGW) on a PCIe/CNVio slot, it's incompatible, that prevents you from even powering on, see this:
        https://community.intel.com/t5/Wirel...on/td-p/731493
If you have a 8th or 9th gen mobile CPU and CNVio interface you cannot install the AX201 as it is incompatible. This incompatibility manifests in a complete inability to power on (confirmed on multiple systems). This wont be a failure to post issue, the system will literally ignore that you pressed the power button. Fortunately this is temporary as remove the card returns the system to normal.

Your problem is not whitelisting...when there is an incompatibility problem then the laptop starts OK but the booting process is halted with a message like 1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in...
The Interface Type of the two cards are different:

Stefan Steff if the AX200NGW is actually in the whitelist danro can upgrade to it
You'll need the Lenovo/HP approved version of course, as in, it had to be pulled from a Lenovo or HP
FRU 02HK705 or 02HK704, can't tell which is the proper one

Yes, danro can upgrade to AX200NGW no mater what...there is no Lenovo/HP approved AX200NGW.
AX200NGW has an Vid/Pid ( Vendor ID/Part ID) 8086:2723 which is in the whitelist of Lenovo M920x BIOS.
