    Need help detecting/reading MX77U25650FZ4I42

    Hi all, I have a CH341a and have attempted to read MX77U25650FZ4I42 (Macronix) using the MX25U25635F preset in NeoProgrammer (as suggested here on BadCaps) but it's not working. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try.

          How did you solve it? I'm trying to read the same chip with that programmer as well.

              Hi, I'm trying to revive an HP Elitebook 840 G2 with a bricked bios. Problem is that I'm stuck on getting a dump from the BIOS-chip, it doesn't seem to give me the correct output.

              I'm using a Raspberry Pi 2B+ with Flashrom and a Pomona SOIC8-clip. The chip in question is a Macronix MX25L12873F (datasheet here). Flashrom detects the chip fine - or so it seems, it's detected as a "Macronix MX25L12835F/MX25L12845E/MX25L12865E". Reading takes quite long, I'd say about ten minutes or so. When I open the output in a hex-editor every line is like this:

              Hi. I got a Dell laptop with MX77U51250FZ4I42 SPI flash as per photo.
              I am using CH341A with 1.8V adapter to try and read it. I did micro soldered under uscope wires directly to the chip on the board.
              Neither of software (NeoProgrammer, Asprogramer and few other) is recognizing this chip.
              No datasheet available. Emailed Macronix - they said datasheet is "not available for individuals I'm afraid".
              I tried manual settings of size (67,108,864 Bytes) and different Page size (128, 256, 512) but although it does start and finish reading process all I get are zeros?...

              PS5 HDMI port diode reading?

              I did an hdmi port repair for a PS5 and I lost the small diode z71 SOD923 on the back of the port. I did a trace repair for pin 19 of the port as well. Without the diode I get no display at all. I tried replacing the diode twice but after I get flux on it the marking comes off so I can't tell if I have it on the right orientation. When I measure I get a reading of 1(open) and 923 in diode mode. Is 923 a normal reading for these and also which side should the reading be with regards to the arrow on the board?...

              0.00 ESR reading on a capacitor

              Howdy all I have a 90uF Capacitor 200/275 VRMS and measured the ESR . Reading says 00.3 Ohms and about 1/2 a second later 00,0 and says low ESR (Really No Kidding).
              I have checked it on the multimeter and reading is 94.7uF well within soec as ir has a 25% tolerance on it.
              Can anyone advise me is this capacitor likely to fail in the near future or still good to use.

              Hi my board is HUSK MB 11309-248.4TU05.021

              The board is plugg and consuming 13 milliamp
              measuring the 3v coil no reading and the 5v coil no reading
