    msi 660ti fan problem

The fans of the video card do not work at normal temperatures, but when it gets too hot, it suddenly starts working at full speed. I did a bios update but it didn't fix it. What could be causing the problem?

    Re: msi 660ti fan problem

I also have the same problem on my HD 7870, while googling, I came across this thread on MSI forums.

I think I have found the suspicious diode but since I don't have a proper replacement part, I just replaced the fan with a regular 80mm case fans mounted using glue.

Sapphire Radeon TOXIC R9 270X problem with fans
      by ostryo
Hello everyone. I have a strange problem for this card. Generally is fully operational, it gives a picture and can be used normally. The problem is that from the moment the computer is turned on, the fans are still working at 100% and it cannot be changed. Card temperature checked in gpu-z is very low. I checked on two BIOS which card has and the effect is the same.

Does anyone have any tips or encountered such a problem?

      Thanks

      Thinkpad X1 Carbon "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021" VCC3M problem

      i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

RTX3090 working fine but fans not spinning
      by emil_t
Hello guys. I have a problem with a PNY XLR8 GAMING RTX3090 graphics card. The problem is that it displays and works fine, but the fans don't spin at all. The problem occurred when someone else removed the fans in order to clean it and broke one of the fan connectors. He replaced it himself and after that, it wasn't working anymore. I guess he damaged something else in the process. What i have done so far: I found 2 capacitors next to the connector that were in a bad shape, he must have touched them with his tools - they weren't shorted, but i replaced them with similar ones from a similar card....

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
      by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

      Clevo PC70DP issues
      by Rudolfl
      Hi all
I have one of those machines. Clevo PC70DP.

Machine starts, but turns off quite quick. Just before turning off one can hear fans are spinning at high speed. Can be turned back on again right away.
      So, feels like overheat problem.
I cleaned up fans and heatsinks and replaced thermal paste. I can now see CPU runs cooler and machine stays on for longer, but still same.

      Few more findings:
      1. on-board NVIDIA card is not found. Not showing up in Windows or in BIOS.
      2. I tried to run CPU stress test. CPU stays at about 65 degrees. Works...
